Watching this show is like having acid jammed into your neck every 20 minutes. It's colorful and certainly something you haven't seen before, but 6 episodes in and i'm desperately trying to quit. I really can't understand why this has such a dedicated fanbase, because all it does is irritate me with some of the most annoying characters i've seen since psycho pass 2.

Yeah, I think the main appeal at the beginning was the wacky visuals and over the top premise, but it pretty much gets rid of those things by episode 2. The only interesting characters in those episodes were Maccha Green and her Shigyo (Gosh, how do I even remember these names!), and they were ditched for Nozomi and the others. Watching them was pretty much go to every country was extremely boring. If the goal was to feel like a go with the flow punk rock song episodic adventure then it should have at least gave us some crazy storylines. I mean if you actually pay attention to what's happening in any of the episodic stories you'll realize they're all really boring plot wise. This girl learns to be more confident, these two people become friends again after a misunderstanding, etc. By the end, I was just ignoring everything the characters were saying, especially when it came to the hilariously stupid twist in episode 9. I won't spoil it, but let's just say it makes the show go from aimless to completely lost and confused. Sorry this is a long response, but I guess I felt that I should release my feelings about this show somewhere. Honestly, I don't hate Rolling Girls, but it's a complete mess in almost every aspect.

I'll admit the soundtrack ain't that bad, but even that and the pretty visuals are so obviously decoration. To be honest I barely noticed it until I gave up on the story and characters altogether.
